Waiterimu, Waikato Hill Country Fence Line Prep

This project took us deep into Waikato hill country, creating 1.4 km of new fence line tracking across steep drystock hills. Working on rugged farmland meant navigating sharp ridges, overgrown valleys, and constantly shifting ground conditions.

Our team cut and shaped new tracks along the fence line route, navigating the hillside while maintaining workable gradients. Throughout the job, we handled sections of heavy scrub and overgrowth, clearing the way for a clean and practical line. To ensure long term durability, we also carried out drainage works along the route and installed culverts where needed to manage water flow and prevent future washouts.

The end result was a strong, accessible 1.4km fence line through challenging hill country, transforming steep, rugged land into a practical boundary that will support farm operations for years to come.
