Premium site preparation for a large-scale Remuera renovation

This Remuera project was unique as it wasn’t a new build but a full house renovation, requiring careful planning and precision to work around the existing structure. Our team handled every stage of the site preparation, turning a challenging city site into a clean, functional platform for the renovation and landscaping works to follow.

We began by excavating and installing retaining to create safe access. From there, we drilled soldier piles to surround the basement area, then carefully dug out between them to form a secure foundation. All material was carted through and around the existing house before being loaded out, no small task on a restricted residential site.

The project also involved removing the old swimming pool foundations and preparing the area for a brand new pool. At the front of the property, we prepped the driveway ready for new concrete and pavers, ensuring the finished levels would tie in seamlessly with the renovation. To complete the works, we carried out full lawn preparation, setting the site up perfectly for landscapers to bring in the final touches.
